How to make a scrapbook in five easy steps
1. Choose a theme
Don’t let the excitement of scrapbooking take hold just yet – before you start sticking, it’s important to choose a theme. Take some time to think about what you want your album to be about, which will help you choose the perfect pictures for it.

2. Photo selection
Now this is the most important step (and the most fun!) Once you’ve got a theme in mind, start choosing the photos that you want to put in your scrapbook album!
Choose photos that are precious to you and will help you tell a story as they’ll be the most meaningful when you look back at them in years to come!
3. Plan out each page
Once you’ve chosen all the photos that you want to put in your scrapbook, you’re almost ready to start sticking… But not just yet!
We’d recommend planning the rough layout of each page and deciding which photos to group together.
4. Stick your photos into your album
Now to start sticking! If cropping is needed, make fade pencil markings on the back of the photos and crop to your desired size with scissors.
Then add VELCRO® Brand Super Slim Stick On to the back of the photos and the other side wherever you want to place them in your book. If you want to swap the photos at any time, just unstick! It’s like magic.
5. Write a caption for each photo
Memories fade over time, and writing a caption for each photo helps you remember the story behind each picture. Spend some time thinking about what these photographs mean to you and add a short caption. You can choose to add in names, dates, captions, lyrics, quotes or whatever you like!
