Last month to celebrate 60 years of the VELCRO® trademark, Velcro Companies joined the United States Patent and Trademark office for this year’s Trademark Expo in Washington DC. Located at the National Museum of American History, the event was a huge success!
The weekend was jammed packed with families and fans celebrating not only the VELCRO® trademark but Under Armour®, the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, Microsoft and many more historic brands. Basketball player, Kareen Abdul-Jabbar, was the featured keynote speaker and panel discussions about trademarks were sprinkled throughout the event. Those who stopped by the Velcro Companies booth created stylish VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® bracelets, examined hook and loop under a microscope, and even tried their hand at the VELCRO® Brand strength test.
The VELCRO® Trademark is recognized by millions of people around the globe and it’s what connects us as a company.
